Job summary

Sun City Lincoln Hills Community Association seeks a friendly Barista to join the Kilaga Springs Café team. This role prepares high quality beverages and a variety of food items while delivering warm, attentive service.

Responsibilities include operating coffee equipment, stocking supplies, assisting with inventory, cleaning and sanitation, and helping train new team members. Weekend and holiday availability is required; work indoors and outdoors in variable temperatures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is desirable or cash handling/POS experience.
• Food handler’s card preferred, or must acquire within 30 days of employment
• Responsible Serving of Alcohol certification (RBS) preferred, or must acquire within 60 days of employment
• Minimum of 6 months in a food service establishment preferred
• Must be 18 years old to serve alcohol
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
• CPR/AED/First Aid certificate desirable

Responsibilities

• Prepare high quality hot and cold beverages and a variety of food items.
• Greet guests, take accurate orders, and handle payments with a POS system.
• Maintain a clean and organized café, operate coffee equipment, and stock supplies.
• Assist with inventory needs and training of new team members; ensure health and safety standards.
