The Barista/Bistro Attendant is responsible for providing exceptional food and beverage service to guests, ensuring a positive and memorable dining experience. This role involves taking orders, delivering food and beverages promptly, managing guest checks, and maintaining a clean and organized service environment. The Barista/Bistro Attendant serves as a key point of contact for guests and plays an essential role in upholding service standards and guest satisfaction.
This position operates in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment requiring constant movement and guest interaction. Work is performed primarily indoors within Bistro area, with occasional outdoor exposure depending on the property. The role involves exposure to noise, uneven and potentially slippery surfaces, chemicals, and kitchen machinery, as well as handling hot plateware and service items. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver efficient, high-quality service under pressure.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of restaurant experience required; high-volume dining experience and full-service restaurant or hotel background preferred.
Food safety and/or alcohol service certification preferred (or required per local regulations).
No travel required; position is fully property-based.
