Job summary

DoubleTree Pittsburgh - Green Tree is seeking a Barista/Bistro Attendant to deliver exceptional dining experiences in a fast-paced restaurant. You will take orders, process payments, serve food and beverages, and help maintain a clean, organized service area.

The role requires strong communication, a friendly professional demeanor, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-volume environment, while leveraging knowledge of menu and on-site amenities.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of restaurant experience; high-volume dining and hotel background preferred.
• Skills: Excellent guest service, ability to handle cash, and knowledge of menu offerings.
• Certifications: Food safety and/or alcohol service certification preferred (or required per local regulations).

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and provide attentive service for dining experience.
• Take accurate orders and enter into the POS system; deliver foods promptly.
• Manage guest checks and cash transactions with accuracy.
• Maintain cleanliness of Bistro areas and service stations; restock as needed.
• Provide menu knowledge, upsell suggestions, and engage guests professionally.
