Job summary

Aramark is hiring full-time Baristas in Houston to craft specialty drinks, assist with food prep, and handle orders and payments with a focus on delivering memorable customer experiences. The ideal candidate brings 1+ year of barista and bartender experience, strong cash handling and English-reading skills, and the ability to work independently while following brand standards and dress code guidelines.

Role may involve physical demands and requires adherence to health and safety guidelines;

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Barista experience of 1+ year required.
• Bartender experience of 1+ year required.
• Upscale/luxury environment experience preferred.
• Basic cash handling experience preferred.
• Must be able to read and communicate in English and follow recipes.
• Complete Food Handling and Alcohol Certification as required.

Responsibilities

• Accurately operate a register/POS and handle cash and credit card transactions.
• Greet and assist customers while anticipating their needs.
• Prepare and serve coffees, teas, and specialty beverages per brand standards.
• Prepare and serve food items in line with location standards.
• Balance cash drawer and deposits, and complete cashier slips.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures.
• Set up and breakdown coffee/bar stations, including cleaning and sanitizing.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work area.
• Stock beverage coolers, grab-and-go items, service ware and condiments.
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products.
