Job summary

The Hilton Milwaukee City Center, a part of Marcus Hotels & Resorts, is seeking a Starbucks Barista to join our downtown Milwaukee team. You will take orders, craft drinks, and deliver friendly, efficient service to guests while keeping a clean, organized workspace.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work a varied schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Hospitality or customer service experience preferred.
• Must learn all menu items and upsell techniques.
• Basic math to operate a cash register and make change.
• Ability to read/speak English to understand menus and promotions.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality beverages for all customers, following Starbucks standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area.
• Follow merchandising, stocking, and product rotation standards.
• Ensure guest satisfaction and tactfully address issues.
• Handle payments, cash drawer, and house bank per guidelines.
• Balance the house bank at shift end.
• Perform general cleaning tasks per supervisor's instructions.
