Job summary

Summit Pacific Medical Center in Elma, WA is seeking a Barista to serve staff, patients and visitors with quick, friendly service. You will prepare espresso-based beverages, smoothies, and light food items while keeping the cafe clean and well-stocked.

Responsibilities include cash handling, POS transactions, and occasional support for Café and Catering events. A high school diploma and at least 6 months barista experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
• Minimum six months of barista experience, required.
• Experience preparing espresso-based beverages.
• Customer service experience, preferred.
• Cash handling experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Barista will serve staff, patients, guests and customers in a timely, courteous manner.
• Prepare and sell coffee drinks, blended drinks, smoothies, baked goods, quick service items.
• Maintain cleanliness of foodservice area and equipment.
• Process cash register transactions accurately.
• Support Café and Catering events as needed.
• Open/close, stock, clean, and assist in operational duties.
• Adhere to policies and patient experience standards.
