Truce is hiring Barista and Beverage Server roles at its first location, offering an engaging fast-paced hospitality environment with a focus on fresh, scratch-made items and real passion for service.

The Barista and Beverage Server will craft hot and cold beverages, manage orders, and ensure guests have a positive, memorable experience while maintaining a clean workspace and adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of brewing techniques and equipment.
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment, including maintenance/troubleshooting.
• Ability to work effectively with other kitchen staff in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage workstation and keep a clean, organized environment.
• Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately for consistent quality.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Mindset: “Pour” it on! Offer care, technique, and flair where warranted.
• Order taking and serving: verify age, take drink orders, prepare and serve alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages.
• Represent brand: answer questions about food, beverage menu, and mission.
• Make beverages: follow recipes; operate espresso machines and grinders.
• Payment processing: handle payments and provide receipts.
• Greet customers and resolve issues in a friendly manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including counter and cash register.
• Follow safety and sanitation policies and regulations for alcohol service.
• Other duties: restock supplies, bag orders, assist other staff as needed.

We are seeking Barista and Beverage Servers!

PositionSummary:TheBaristaandBeverage Serveris responsible forpreparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea,alcohol,and other specialty drinks, while also providing excellent customer service andmaintaininga clean and organized workspace.

Essential Functions:

• Order Taking and Serving: Verifying age by checking ID, taking drink orders,preparingand serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers.
• Represent Brand:Ability to knowledgeably answer customer questions about thefood and beveragemenu and organizational mission.
• Make Beverages:Adhere to recipes and preparation techniques to craft consistent, high-quality beverages. Operate coffee equipment, such as espresso machines and grinders.
• Payment Processing:Process payments usingcredit, debit, or other methods, and providereceipts.
• Legendary Hospitality:Greet customers, answer questions, and resolve any issues or complaints in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Cleanliness:Maintaina clean and organized work area, including the counter,drink preparationarea,andcash register station.
• Safety& Compliance: Follow all safety and sanitationpolicies andadhereto regulationsregardingalcohol service.
• Other Duties:May also be responsible for tasks like restocking supplies, bagging orders, and assisting other staff members as needed.
