Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Above-average math skills.
• A positive attitude and good manners.
• Neat personal appearance and proper personal hygiene.
• Valid Server Permit (ABC Card).
• Ability to communicate effectively in the primary language of the work location; fluency in English may be essential for some stations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, alcohol, and other specialty drinks; provide excellent customer service and maintain a clean workspace.
• Verify age by checking IDs and take drink orders, preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Represent brand by knowledgeably answering questions about the food and beverage menu and mission.
• Make beverages following recipes and using coffee equipment (espresso machines, grinders).
• Process payments using credit/debit or other methods and provide receipts.
• Greet customers, address questions, and resolve issues in a friendly manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the counter, prep area, and cash register.
• Follow safety and sanitation policies and adhere to alcohol service regulations.
• May assist with restocking supplies and other duties as needed.

PositionSummary:

TheBaristaandBeverage Serveris responsible forpreparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea,alcohol,and other specialty drinks, while also providing excellent customer service andmaintaininga clean and organized workspace.

Essential Functions:

• Mindset: "Pour" iton! Offer care, technique, and a bit of flair wherewarranted.
• Order Taking and Serving: Verifying age by checking ID, taking drink orders,preparingand serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers.
• Represent Brand: Ability to knowledgeably answer customer questions about thefood and beveragemenu and organizational mission.
• Make Beverages: Adhere to recipes and preparation techniques to craft consistent, high-quality beverages. Operate coffee equipment, such as espresso machines and grinders.
• Payment Processing: Process payments usingcredit, debit, or other methods, and providereceipts.
• Legendary Hospitality: Greet customers, answer questions, and resolve any issues or complaints in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Cleanliness: Maintaina clean and organized work area, including the counter,drink preparationarea,andcash register station.
• Safety& Compliance: Follow all safety and sanitationpolicies and adhereto regulationsregardingalcohol service.
• Other Duties: May also be responsible for tasks like restocking supplies, bagging orders, and assisting other staff members as needed.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• Basic knowledgeofbrewing techniques and equipment.
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment, including maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Ability to work effectively with other kitchen staff in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage a workstation andmaintaina clean and organized environment.
