Stonewall Kitchen Café in York, Maine is seeking a friendly Barista to craft hot and cold beverages and deliver the warm guest experience the brand is known for.

You will operate espresso machines, prepare drinks to order, greet guests, take payments, and keep the station clean and stocked. Training is available; weekends and holidays may be required, with compensation at $17 per hour plus tips.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain espresso machines, brewers, grinders, and other cafe equipment.
• Prep fruit, coffee, milk, syrups, and ingredients for service.
• Maintain clean, organized, and stocked cafe environment.
• Support team to keep orders flowing during busy times.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality standards.

As a Barista, you'll craft everything from freshly brewed coffee and specialty espresso drinks to refreshing iced beverages and smoothies, all while providing the warm, welcoming guest experience Stonewall Kitchen is known for.

What You'll Do

• Work alongside a great team to keep orders flowing during busy periods.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality standards.
• Pitch in with other café duties as needed.

Requirements

What We're Looking For

• Previous barista, café, or food service experience is a plus, but we're happy to train someone eager to learn!
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
