Job summary

NEXDINE Hospitality is seeking a Barista at our Worcester site, working Monday to Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM with an hourly pay rate of $22.00 and weekly direct deposit. The Barista will assist customers at checkout, manage cash/credit payments, and prepare a variety of beverages while keeping the area clean.

Essential duties include operating the POS system, replenishing snacks, and providing excellent service. Prior Barista experience is preferred and teamwork is essential to success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous cash handling experience.
• Previous experience in food service/Barista environment.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to include being attentive, approachable, greeting and thanking customers.
• Operate point of sale system; Receive payment by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits.
• Prepare or serve hot or cold beverages, such as coffee, espresso drinks, blended coffees, or teas.
• Replenish snacks and stock coolers as needed.
• Maintain clean and orderly checkout and coffee kiosk areas and complete other general cleaning duties.
• Assist customers by providing information.
• Work with and take direction from the Chef Manager.
