Job Description:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Barista is responsible for the following duties, in addition to other tasks as assigned:

1. Be Committed to Customers: Create personalized experiences by demonstrating knowledge of coffee, products, and offers. Recognize, include, appreciate, support, and delight customers.
2. Be Focused on Quality: Develop expertise in craft, maintain equipment and store environment, craft high-quality products, and ensure visual appeal and proper signage.
3. Be Dedicated to Each Other: Support team success, recognize and support fellow baristas, follow policies, and communicate effectively with store leadership.
4. Cash Register Operations: Operate cash register following proper money handling procedures to prevent discrepancies.
5. Sanitation and Maintenance: Follow cleaning schedules, maintain work areas, and meet health and OSHA standards. Properly dispose of trash.
6. Additional Duties: Assist with baling cardboard, receiving and storing deliveries, and other related tasks with proper training.
7. Safety: Use personal protective equipment (PPE) provided by the company.
8. Other Department Support: Assist in other departments as needed.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position currently has no supervisory duties.
