SSP America is hiring a Barista at Spokane International Airport to prepare, serve, and sell beverages for travelers. You will greet guests, process orders on the POS system, handle cash, and serve drinks and food while following recipes and health standards.

This is a full-time, year-round position with immediate start and a $20.00/hour pay rate. Join a fast-paced team delivering quality beverages and guest experiences in an airport setting, with benefits and opportunities typical of SSP

Responsibilities

• Greet guests courteously and manage orders.
• Process orders and enter them into the POS system accurately.
• Receive payments and handle cash transactions.
• Prepare, serve, and present hot, cold drinks and assorted food items.
• Follow recipes and maintain portion control and health standards.
• Complete opening, ongoing, and closing checklists; keep area clean.

SSP America operates several restaurants throughout the Spokane International Airport . Our portfolio includes local favorites like Fir & Pine , Puerto Tacos and Tortas, and Thomas Hammer Coffee Roasters.

At SSP America, our Baristas have the important role of preparing, serving, and selling wonderful beverages for our guests. If you've been to an airport, you know how important that caffeine fix is for travelers!

Here are a few things you can expect when you join our team as a Barista:

• Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner.
• Process orders and enter them accurately into the POS system.
• Receive payment from the customer and process change.
• Serve cold, frozen, and hot drinks as well as a wide variety of food items to guests.
• Follow all recipes and practice portion control to prepare, garnish, and present ordered items.
• Complete opening, on-going, and closing checklists as required. Perform general and specific cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products as assigned by supervisor to adhere to health standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
