Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have exceptional customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Caffe Trio is located inside South San Francisco Kaiser, providing a safe working environment.

Our team is looking for the following availability for shift coverage:

• Monday-Friday: 6:30-12 (morning shift) or 12:30-4:30 (evening shift). Hours are flexible and can be rearranged!

Our team also benefits from being able to take cash tips received at the end of every shift.

Responsibilities

1. Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks following recipes
2. Operate espresso machines and other coffee-making equipment
3. Handle cash transactions
4. Maintain a clean and organized workspace
5. Provide excellent customer service by taking orders and addressing customer inquiries
6. Upsell products and suggest menu items based on customer preferences

Qualifications

1. Experience in food service or retail environment preferred
2. Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques is a plus
3. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
4. Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
5. Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and processing payments
