Job summary

Encore Village of Schaumburg seeks a Full-Time Barista for 7:00-4:00 pm Monday–Friday and every other weekend in the Dining Services Department. The Barista will prepare and serve hot and cold beverages, primarily coffee and espresso drinks, while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include operating espresso equipment, taking orders, handling payments, keeping the cafe clean, and educating guests on blends and brewing methods.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or customer service preferred.
• Knowledge of coffee and espresso preparation is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Flexible availability including weekends and holidays.
• Basic math skills and familiarity with POS systems.
• High school or GED preferred.
