HHS Culinary and Nutrition Solutions, LLC (USA) is hiring for a full-time cafe position at Bon Secours St Marys Hospital of Richmond. You will work the register, prepare specialty drinks, and serve pastries while maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.

Excellent customer service, English communication, and the ability to stand for long periods are essential. Day/evening/night shifts are available, with background checks required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment.
• Must practice good personal hygiene and be neatly groomed in a uniform.
• Preferred: Culinary experience in kitchen, healthcare, or food service.
• Physical requirements include prolonged standing and lifting up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Cater to all customer needs with friendliness and respect.
• Balance cash drawer and discuss discrepancies with management.
• Stock and monitor condensates, utensils, and grab-and-go items.
• Monitor temperatures and maintain temperature logs.
• Keep the cafeteria clean and organized at all times.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, and spot clean high-traffic areas.
• Assist team members and management to run the department efficiently.
• Prepare specialty drinks like espresso, teas, lattes, cold brews.
• Operate commercial espresso machines and related coffee equipment.
• Serve pastries, sandwiches, and bakery items with proper food safety.

Location: Bon Secours St Marys Hospital of Richmond Pay Rate: Hourly - Hourly Plan, 16.00 USD Hourly Work Shift: Job Description We’re looking for friendly, compassionate, team players to join our culinary team! Work the register in the hospital cafeteria and provide excellent service to all guests. Maintain a clean and organized environment to ensure that food is presented properly and the cafe is ready for service in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Cater to all customer needs and treat every customer with respect, friendliness, and a smile
• Balance the cash drawer and discuss discrepancies with management
• Stock and monitor supply levels of condiments, utensils, and grab-and-go items
• Monitor temperatures for the tray line and maintain temperature logs
• Keep the cafeteria clean and organized at all times, including emptying trash cans
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, and spot clean to maintain floor and high-traffic areas
• Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently
• Prepare Specialty Drinks: Handcraft espresso beverages, teas, lattes, cold brews, and seasonal drinks according to standard recipes and customer specifications.
• Operate Coffee Equipment: Master the use of commercial espresso machines, coffee grinders, blenders, and milk frothers while adjusting grind sizes and extraction times for optimal flavor.
• Serve Food Items: Heat, plate, and serve pastries, sandwiches, and bakery items, maintaining proper food safety standards.
