Job Purpose:

As a Barista at Hugo's Family Marketplace (& Caribou), you will be the face of our coffee service, providing exceptional customer experiences while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. Your role is pivotal in ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient service, product knowledge, and adherence to health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in a friendly and efficient manner.
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring a positive interaction.
• Prepare and serve beverages according to Caribou standards, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Prepare food items, including pastries and sandwiches, adhering to company recipes and presentation standards.
• Operate the point-of-sale system/register with accuracy, handling cash and card transactions securely.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station and seating area, ensuring a welcoming environment.
• Conduct inventory checks and assist in stock management to ensure smooth operations.
• Adhere to food safety, sanitation, and health regulations to ensure a safe environment for customers and staff.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and make recommendations to enhance the customer experience.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and a cohesive work environment.

Required Education:
