Job description

ISS Guckenheimer offers full-time employees a variety of benefits including medical, dental, life and disability insurance, as well as a comprehensive leave program based on employment status. $18.00 per hour - $20.00 per hour.

Work Hours

The work hours for this position are Mon-Fri, 6:30 am - 3:00 pm.

Key Purpose

Welcome all guests and make them feel happy they came. Let them know you are here to make that perfect beverage for them. Prepare and serve hot or cold beverages such as coffee, espresso drinks, blended coffees, and teas. Serve ready-to-eat foods such as pastries, muffins, biscotti, and bagels at breakfast and sandwiches and salads at lunch. Always serve guests with a caring and happy attitude.

  • Arrive on time to all shifts
  • Proper uniform including non-slip shoes and name tag
  • Professional appearance
  • Don’t be afraid to ask for help

Key Accountabilities

  • Properly setting up all equipment needed
  • Clean & sanitize work and service areas
  • Station set to execute guest service/satisfaction
  • Prepare or serve hot or cold beverages, such as coffee, espresso drinks, blended coffees, and teas
  • Order, receive, or stock supplies or retail products
  • Operate cash register and be familiar with self-service kiosks
  • Recognize products; accurately restock & rotate product
  • Smile, greet, and serve customers, making them feel welcome
  • Complete necessary HACCP to ensure safe temperature control
  • Display merchandise in an attractive manner
  • Weigh, grind, or pack coffee beans for customers
  • Stock, clean and organize coolers in an attractive manner
  • Label and display signs for all items
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Must follow all safety rules and actively prevent accidents

Physical Demands & Work Environment

  • Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds
  • Must be able to stand for periods of 7 hours
  • Must be able to work under pressure during peak periods of the day
  • Must offer outstanding hospitality for their entire shift
