Job Summary:

The Barista is responsible for making and selling coffee, other drinks, and food items to Members and their guests.

Day-to-Day:

• Educates Members by presenting the menu and answering questions.
• Sells coffees by explaining differences in coffee beans, coffee preparation machines, and demonstrating how brewing equipment operates.
• Maintains inventories by replenishing and restocking coffee bean supply, brewing equipment, supplies, pastries, and cookies for the coffee bar.
• Keeps equipment operable by following operating instructions, maintaining supplies, and performing preventive maintenance, including calling for repairs.
• Improves the appearance of the store and coffee bar to drive up sales.

About You:

• Six months experience as a barista.
• Excellent communication skills and articulate speech. Ability to follow instructions well.
• Possesses a passion for exceeding Member expectations and a commitment to excellence that results in providing the highest quality Member and guest experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
