Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System in Boise is hiring a Full Time Registered Nurse for the Day Surgery Department at our Regional Medical Center. You will provide hands-on patient care and collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia and staff.

Responsibilities include educating patients, administering medications and developing individualized care plans based on patient needs; a strong commitment to high-quality care is expected.

Qualifications

• A current RN license is required.
• Multistate licenses must establish residency with the Idaho Board of Nursing within 60 days from hire.
• At hire, Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required. (ACLS and/or PALS may be accepted in lieu of BLS).
• ACLS/PALS within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on patient care in the Day Surgery Department.
• Educate patients and administer prescribed medications and treatments; develop care plans based on patient needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues, including surgeons and anesthesia, and maintain accurate documentation.
