Job summary

American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist with bariatric and robotics experience for an operating room position in Wisconsin. The role includes a 40-hour week on a day shift with no call and no weekends, and requires EPIC EMR proficiency.

Responsibilities include supporting surgeries across General, Robotics, ENT, Plastics, Urology, Bariatrics, GYN, Neuro, and Orthopedic cases, with 1:1 patient care and unit-wide collaboration.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist.
• Bariatric surgery experience required.
• Robotics experience with DaVinci Xi required.
• Able to support Neuro and Orthopedic surgery cases.
• CST and BLS certifications required.
• License required if applicable.
• Candidate's middle name or initial required.
• DOB and last 4 of SSN needed for consideration.
• At least one professional reference dated within the last year.

Responsibilities

• Surgery Room unit within a Level II Trauma Center.
• 19 ORs split between two locations within the same building.
• Patient types include General, Robotics, ENT, Plastics, Urology, Bariatrics, GYN, Neuro, and Orthopedic.
• 1:1 tech to patient ratio.
• 8-hour day shift, 0645-1515, 40 hours per week.
• Floating between Main OR and East side; rare to West Side.
• No call requirements; no weekend rotation.
• Some holiday coverage required.
• EPIC EMR used; assist with preparation, scrubbing, and related services.
