Job summary

- Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program with licensure in Missouri.
- Experience in bariatrics or surgical settings preferred.
- Strong patient communication and team collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
- Care for bariatric patients in clinic, inpatient units and OR settings.
- Evaluate candidates for bariatric surgery with histories and physicals.
- Order and interpret labs and imaging; coordinate clearances and insurance.
- Educate patients on procedures, diet, and lifestyle changes; obtain consent.
- Round on inpatients; manage postoperative care and complications.
- Provide long-term weight loss follow-up and management of comorbidities.
