Job summary

Englewood Health is seeking an Advanced Practice Nurse (APRN) to join the Surgical Associates of Englewood Team in Bergen County, NJ. The role supports the Bariatrics & General Surgery programs accredited by MBSAQIP, with a five-day workweek from 8:30am to 5:00pm.

You will conduct office and telemedicine visits, triage patient concerns, interpret labs, and coordinate pre- and post-operative care with various care teams. NJ licenses, board cert., and DEA/CDS registration are required.

Qualifications

Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing.
National Board certification is required.
Current NJ Professional Nurse License.
Current NJ Nurse Practitioner License.
DEA and NJ CDS registration.
Current BLS and ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

Facilitate clinical aspects of the Bariatrics & General Surgery program in compliance with MBSAQIP.
Perform office visits and telemedicine for General & Bariatric patients; triage calls.
Interpret lab results and provide instructions or medications.
Conduct post-operative follow-up calls and ensure pre-op requirements.
Collaborate with surgical coordinators, PCPs, and specialists for patient care.
Assist with insurance authorizations and peer-to-peer reviews as needed.
Support pre-op class sessions and collaborate with care teams in acute care settings.
