Job summary

The Trinity Health of New England is seeking a skilled Dietitian to join a fast-paced Surgical Bariatrics specialty practice where your work truly makes a difference. You will assess patient needs, design care plans, and monitor outcomes to maximize clinical nutrition results.

In collaboration with physicians and the care team, you will provide evidence-based MNT, educate patients on food–drug interactions, and document all assessments and plans in the EMR using standardized language.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition or related field.
• CDR registration and state licensure (LDN) required.
• Minimum of one year of dietitian experience in healthcare preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to assess nutritional status and develop care plans.
• EMR documentation proficiency and standardized language.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements patient-specific nutritional care plans and goals per guidelines.
• Provides MNT guidance to physicians and care team members; mentors Diet Technicians.
• Educates patients on food/drug interactions and related interventions.
• Documents assessments, care plans, education, and outcomes in EMR.
• Confers with physicians and team to clarify orders and coordinate care.
