Job summary

Trinity Health of New England is seeking a Dietitian/Nutritionist for a full-time day-shift role in Massachusetts. The position involves performing nutrition assessments, developing patient-specific care plans, and delivering MNT instruction according to Nutrition Practice Guidelines.

Candidates should have CDR registration and state licensure as an LDN, plus at least one year of dietitian experience in healthcare.

Qualifications

• CDR registration and state licensure as a dietitian/nutritionist (LDN) are required.
• Minimum of 1 year of dietitian experience, preferably in healthcare.
• Strong communication skills to explain clinical concepts to physicians, team, patients and families.
• Allergen awareness training and Serv Safe management training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform nutrition assessments per Nutrition Practice Guidelines.
• Develop and implement patient-specific nutrition care plans and goals.
• Monitor and evaluate patient responses to nutrition interventions.
• Assess need for Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) instruction and provide it.
• Provide MNT instruction for modified diets when appropriate.
• Assist in management of EN/PN per Nutrition Practice Guidelines.
