Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience supervising in industrial/logistics/marine environments.

Responsibilities

• Enforce safety policies during barge and rail loading/unloading.
• Plan and coordinate loading/unloading of steel plates, scrap and slabs.
• Supervise crane operators and loading crews with safe practices.
• Monitor performance and provide leadership, coaching and training.
• Review inspection reports and ensure equipment maintenance.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Coordinate with rail crews and tugboat operators for timely movement.
• Address operational issues promptly and effectively.
• Prepare and submit daily safety, productivity, and equipment reports.
• Maintain accurate records for safety inspections and training.
