Zusammenfassung

NorthStar Energy Solutions is seeking a seasoned Barehand Lineman to perform energized transmission line maintenance, construction, repair, and reconductoring using barehand and live-line techniques across HV/EHV systems. The role demands journey-level knowledge of transmission systems, OSHA standards, and safe operating distances, with a strong commitment to safety.

You will work from towers, poles, and equipment such as bucket trucks, helicopters when applicable, and will read construction

Qualifikationen

High school diploma or GED is required.
Completion of a recognized Journeyman Lineman Apprenticeship Program is required.
Journeyman Lineman certification is required.

Aufgaben

Perform energized transmission line work utilizing barehand methods on HV and EHV systems.
Safely perform maintenance, reconductoring, insulator replacement, and related tasks while energized.
Conduct JTSA and participate in pre-job briefings.
Read and interpret construction drawings, structure packages, and switching orders.
Mentor apprentices and develop less experienced line personnel on safe practices.
