NorthStar Energy Solutions, LLC is seeking an experienced Barehand Lineman to perform energized transmission line maintenance, repair, and reconductoring using live-line methods. The role demands journey-level knowledge of transmission systems, safety standards, and the ability to work from towers, poles, and helicopters where applicable.

You will read and interpret drawings, participate in safety briefings, and mentor apprentices, with frequent travel and extended hours.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a recognized Journeyman Lineman Apprenticeship Program.
• Journeyman Lineman certification required.
• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Ability to travel for project assignments and work extended hours, weekends, and holidays.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and utility requirements.

Aufgaben

• Perform energized transmission line work using barehand methods on HV/EHV systems.
• Maintain, repair, reconduct, insulator replacement, spacer installation, and hardware replacement while energized.
• Conduct JTSA and participate in pre-job briefings.
• Apply minimum approach distances and live-line practices.
• Read construction drawings and switching orders; ensure safety and compliance.
• Operate and maintain transmission maintenance equipment and PPE.
• Assist in storm restoration and emergency response.
