Job summary

Hammer and Nails is seeking a barber/stylist to deliver hair grooming, beard grooming, and shaving services while enforcing sanitation standards. You will communicate clearly with clients, explain membership benefits, and ensure a welcoming, clean workstation.

The role requires a valid state barber license, full-time availability (Tuesdays and Wednesdays), and the ability to upsell products and services in a fast-paced shop. Tools and a supportive team environment are provided.

Qualifications

• Full-time availability.
• Working days are Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
• Must hold and maintain a current state barber license.
• Excellent cleanliness and sanitation skills required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Provide hair grooming, beard grooming, and shaving services.
• Explain membership program benefits to clients.
• Maintain sanitation standards and sterile workstations.
• Promote products and services to clients.
• Stock and maintain stations per SOPs.
• Arrive early and prepare for the day; assist with shop operations.
