Job summary

Milan Institute-Nampa is seeking Barber Instructors to mentor, teach, and motivate our students. This part-time role invites skilled barbers to share knowledge on the clinic floor and in the classroom using our approved curriculum.

You will help students prepare for the State Board while handling administrative duties, grading, attendance, and student counseling. Remote-available schedule may include day and evening shifts, with group health insurance and retirement plan benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Current Barber license per State requirement.
• 3–5 years of barber experience.
• Teaching experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Teach, mentor, and coach students on clinic floor and classroom using a company-approved curriculum.
• Prepare students to pass the State Board exam and ensure compliance with State Board rules.
• Attend faculty meetings, record grades and attendance, and counsel students.
