Job summary

Milan Institute in the United States seeks Barber Instructors to mentor, teach and motivate students on the clinic floor and in the classroom using a company-approved curriculum.

Responsibilities include teaching, mentoring, preparing students to pass the State Board exam, recording grades and attendance, and counseling students. Benefits include health insurance, a 401(k), ESOP, PTO and holiday pay.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Current Barber license per State requirement.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of Barber experience.
• Prior teaching experience preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and team-building skills.
• Computer skills necessary.

Responsibilities

• Teaching, mentoring, motivating, and coaching students on the clinic floor and classroom using a company-approved curriculum.
• Preparing students to pass the State Board exam and ensuring compliance with State Board rules.
• Participate in various administrative duties such as attending faculty meetings, accurately recording grades and attendance, and counseling students.
