Job summary

The Milan Institute is seeking a Barber Instructor to mentor, teach, and motivate students on the clinic floor and in the classroom using a company-approved curriculum. The role focuses on practical skills and student success.

Responsibilities include preparing students to pass the State Board exam, participating in faculty meetings, recording grades and attendance, and counseling students to support career readiness. Day and evening positions with competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Current Barber license as per state requirements.
• Valid Instructor's license in the state where the college operates.
• Minimum 3–5 years of barber experience; teaching experience preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills.
• Computer skills are necessary.

Responsibilities

• Teach, mentor, motivate, and coach students on the clinic floor and classroom using a company-approved curriculum.
• Prepare students to pass the State Board exam and ensure compliance with State Board rules.
• Participate in administrative duties such as attending faculty meetings, accurately recording grades and attendance, and counseling students.
