Role Description The Barber Instructor is a part-time, on-site position located in Wilmington, NC. This role is responsible for delivering instruction in barbering techniques, safety and sanitation, and professional standards in accordance with state regulations and CFCC program requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and teaching classroom and lab lessons, demonstrating hair cutting, shaving, styling, and grooming services, and supervising students as they practice skills. The instructor will evaluate student performance, maintain accurate records, support students in preparing for licensure exams, and ensure adherence to health and safety protocols. The role also involves collaborating with colleagues on curriculum development, participating in departmental meetings, and engaging in ongoing professional development to stay current with industry trends and best practices.
