Job summary

Lucky Spot Barbershop in Gastonia, NC is expanding and seeking talented barbers to join our team. You must have a current barber license and completed a barber training program.

You should be comfortable with a variety of men’s hairstyles and excel at communication and customer service to keep clients happy and coming back. Barber duties include greeting clients, preparing for their haircut, cutting and styling as requested, and maintaining a clean, stocked station.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients as they arrive and offer refreshments.

Lucky Spot Barbershop is growing and expanding our Gastonia location. We are looking for talented barbers to join our team!!

You must have a current license to cut hair and have completed a barber training program. While we focus on men's hairstyles, you should be comfortable using a variety of hairstyling techniques for different customers. You must have strong communication and customer service skills; we want all of our customers to enjoy being in our barbershop and leave satisfied with their cut so that they become regular customers.

Barber Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet clients as they arrive and offer them refreshments.
• Prep clients for their haircut and ask what type of styling they want.
• Cut and style clients' hair to their specifications.
• Engage in friendly conversation with clients.
• Keep your station, tools, and equipment sanitized and in good condition.
• Ensure you have the proper products in stock for future clients.

Barber Requirements and Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED certificate
• Barber/hairstylist license with "behind the chair" experience.
• Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
• Organizational and time-management abilities
• Attention to detail.
