LifeTime is seeking a LifeSpa-Barber to provide haircutting, styling and grooming services for members, while educating guests about LifeSpa products and maintaining high salon standards. The role emphasizes staying current with trends, peerless customer service and adherence to safety requirements.

The candidate will perform barbering duties with a focus on personalized client care, while complying with licensing requirements and maintaining clean, organized work stations in a fast-paced club

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of barber experience.
• Barber license in the state where work is performed.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Serves as an expert in hair analysis, maintenance regimens while staying current in style and technique.

• Maintains certifications and stays current on trends in the industry.
• Maintains work stations to salon standards.

Some services may include cutting, styling, and grooming and styling facial hair that result in exceeding the guest’s expectations. This position does not perform chemical treatments such as coloring, highlighting, or perming as a part of their service list.

• Promotes all LifeSpa and Salon products, services and treatments
• Remains current on certifications and new trends in the industry
• Maintains work stations to salon standards

Minimum Required Qualifications

Education:

• High School graduate or equivalent

Years of Experience:

• 1 to 3 years of experience as a barber
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest and commissions
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, climb and lift up to 50 pounds

Licenses / Certifications / Registrations:

• Barber license in state where work is performed

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as a barber in a professional setting
• Knowledge in Salon Biz software
