Job summary

Life Time LifeSpa-Barber role offers hair services and treatments that improve guests’ well‑being and enhance the club experience. Services include cutting, styling and grooming, including facial hair, with a focus on exceeding guest expectations; note that chemical treatments such as coloring, highlighting or perming are not performed in this role.

Key duties include providing individualized services, educating clients on LifeSpa products, staying current with trends, and maintaining salon

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of barber experience.
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts, interest, and commissions.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, climb and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Barber license in state where work is performed.

Position Summary

The LifeSpa-Barber provides various hair services and treatments that improve the guest’s overall sense of well-being and enhances the club experience. Some services may include cutting, styling, and grooming and styling facial hair that result in exceeding the guest’s expectations. This position does not perform chemical treatments such as coloring, highlighting, or perming as a part of their service list.

• Remains current on certifications and new trends in the industry
• Maintains work stations to salon standards

Minimum Required Qualifications

Education:

• High School graduate or equivalent

Years of Experience:

• 1 to 3 years of experience as a barber
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest and commissions
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, climb and lift up to 50 pounds

Licenses / Certifications / Registrations:

• Barber license in state where work is performed

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience as a barber in a professional setting
• Knowledge in Salon Biz software
