Tune-Up in Chicago is seeking a Barback with experience in a high-volume bar or restaurant who can help create great guest experiences and keep the party moving.

This role offers part-time and full-time options, a $12.96/hour base plus tips, and opportunities to enjoy discounts and team events as part of a fun work environment. If you are a strong communicator, team-oriented, and reliable, you will thrive in this role.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in a high-volume bar or restaurant.
• Strong communicator with hospitality mindset.
• Willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work varied hours as business dictates.
• Maintain safety and alcohol knowledge as required by company and city/state.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up the bar for service.
• Monitor the bar’s needs throughout shift.
• Change blown kegs.
• Keep bar and workspaces clean and organized.
• Replenish and stock ice, alcohol, juices, and glassware.
• Bus tables throughout shift.
• Be a good teammate and reliable.

What You’ll Need to Be Successful:

• Ensure that the bar is prepared and set up for success
• Keep constant awareness of the bar’s needs
• Change blown kegs
• Keep the bar clean, including all workspaces and glassware
• Replenish and stock ice, alcohol, juices, glassware, etc.
• Bus tables throughout shift
• Be a good teammate
• Be responsible, show personal accountability, and be reliable
• High-volume barback experience preferred
• Must maintain alcohol knowledge and safety certifications as required by company and city/state
• Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and certain holidays
