Job summary

White Lodging in San Antonio is seeking a Barback to support the bartending team, maintain stock, and uphold bar cleanliness to ensure guests receive exceptional service.

You will work with bartenders, manage ice and supplies, ensure sanitation, and represent the establishment with a professional appearance. Weekend, night, and holiday availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist bartenders to ensure guest service excellence.
• Maintain stock of ice, products, and bar supplies.
• Ensure bar area and food sanitation practices are followed.
• Keep bar area clean by removing dishes and handling side work.
• Know menu items, garnishes, and preparation methods to answer guest questions.
• Present a neat, professional appearance as a barback ambassador.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Do

• Work with bartenders to ensure excellent guest service and assist where needed.
• Maintain stock of ice, product, and supplies for the bartenders.
• Ensure that food sanitation practices are followed.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the bar area by removing dishes, breaking down trays, and completing all necessary side work.
• Be knowledgeable of all menu items, contents, preparation methods, and garnishes; accurately answer guest questions.
• Be an ambassador of our establishment by maintaining a neat and professional personal appearance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
