Recess Hotel & Club Savannah is opening Fall 2026 and is seeking dependable, energetic Barbacks for the Lobby Bar team. You will support bartenders, stock supplies, keep the bar organized, and help deliver exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, bar, hotel, or hospitality experience preferred.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to support the team wherever needed.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Positive attitude and commitment to teamwork.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout a shift.
• Ability to safely lift and move kegs, cases of beverages, ice, and other supplies.
• Professional presentation and grooming standards.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
• Interest in hospitality and beverage operations with a desire to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• Stock beer, wine, spirits, mixers, glassware, ice, and supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization across bar, lounge, storage.
• Replenish ice, garnishes, syrups, and bar ingredients during service.
• Assist with inventory deliveries and receiving.
• Wash glassware and bar tools, maintaining sanitation.
• Support opening, closing, and side work duties.
• Collaborate with bartenders, servers, culinary team, and leadership to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations.
• Assist with special events and high-volume service periods as needed.
