Kessler Hotels in Savannah, GA is seeking a Barback to support the bar team and help ensure guest experiences meet our standards of service and atmosphere. This role contributes to a polished bar area and smooth guest flow in a premium hospitality setting.

You will assist with requisitions, stock, and product knowledge, while maintaining bar cleanliness and guest-facing professionalism during evening shifts. Compliance with sanitation and safety policies is essential to daily operations.

Qualifications

• One year of previous experience in a similar role.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Evening shift availability.
• Adequate communication skills: must be able to effectively communicate with customers and coworkers.
• Patient in dealing with guests.

Responsibilities

• Request, pick, verify and put away all requisitions for liquor, wine, beer, juices, soft drinks and food items used for the bar areas.
• Stock the bar areas with liquor, wine, beer, juices, soft drinks, glassware and condiments.
• Develop a complete working knowledge of all products served by the bar.
• Ensure that all side opening and closing duties are completed.
• Adopt a positive approach in dealing with guests problems and issues to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Adhere to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area.
• Attend to customer needs with a friendly and professional attitude.
• Operate and maintain bar equipment and tools.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
