Job summary

The Montford Rooftop Bar Downtown Asheville is seeking a Barback to support our bar operations in a fast-paced setting. You will help keep the bar stocked, clean, and organized, ensuring bartenders have what they need to deliver great service to guests.

This part-time role emphasizes reliability, teamwork, and attention to detail, with opportunities to assist across the food & beverage team as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in a similar hospitality role is preferred but not required.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift items.

Responsibilities

• Set up and stock the bar with necessary supplies and garnishes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and glassware.
• Assist bartenders by replenishing supplies during busy periods.
• Restock and collect glasses and bottles as needed.
• Monitor inventory and alert management to supply needs.
• Adhere to safety and sanitation standards at all times.
• Provide friendly and efficient customer service.
• Assist with other tasks including dishwashing or kitchen operations.

At Parks Hospitality Group , we are looking for a hardworking and reliable Barback to join our Food & Beverage team. In this vital support role, you will be the backbone of our bar operations—ensuring our bartenders have everything they need to succeed by keeping stations fully stocked, clean, and organized so we can deliver exceptional service to every guest.

What You’ll Do:

• Set up and stock the bar with necessary supplies, including beer, wine, spirits, mixers, and garnishes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, including glassware and work surfaces.
• Assist bartenders during busy periods by replenishing supplies, fetching bottles, and pouring drinks.
• Collect empty glasses and bottles and restock as needed.
• Monitor inventory levels and alert management to supply needs.
• Adhere to safety and sanitation standards at all times.
• Provide friendly and efficient customer service.
• Assist with other tasks, including dishwashing or kitchen operations, as needed.

What You’ll Need:

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
