Job summary

Parks Hospitality Group Inc. is hiring a Barback for the Montford Rooftop Bar in Asheville, NC. The role supports bartenders by stocking, cleaning, and organizing the bar to ensure smooth service.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, stand for long periods, and help with other tasks as needed. Prior experience helps but isn’t required; basic knowledge of beverages is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.
• Previous barback or similar experience is welcome but not required.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential.
• Basic knowledge of alcoholic beverages is a plus.

Responsibilities

Join Our Team as a Barback at the The Montford Rooftop Bar!

At Parks Hospitality Group , we are looking for a hardworking and reliable Barback to join our Food & Beverage team. In this vital support role, you will be the backbone of our bar operations—ensuring our bartenders have everything they need to succeed by keeping stations fully stocked, clean, and organized so we can deliver exceptional service to every guest.

What You’ll Do:

• Set up and stock the bar with necessary supplies, including beer, wine, spirits, mixers, and garnishes.


• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, including glassware and work surfaces.


• Assist bartenders during busy periods by replenishing supplies, fetching bottles, and pouring drinks.


• Collect empty glasses and bottles and restock as needed.


• Monitor inventory levels and alert management to supply needs.


• Adhere to safety and sanitation standards at all times.


• Provide friendly and efficient customer service.


• Assist with other tasks, including dishwashing or kitchen operations, as needed.

What You’ll Need:

• A high school diploma or equivalent.


• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.


• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items.
