Oceana Coastal Kitchen at the Catamaran Resort Hotel and Spa in San Diego, CA is seeking a Barback to support the bartender during service, stock supplies, and maintain a welcoming bar area.

The role requires 3–12 months of relevant experience, a friendly, team-oriented attitude, and weekend/holiday availability. Certification in San Diego County Food Handling is required or provided by Evans Hotels, LLC.

Qualifications

• 3–12 months of relevant experience and/or training.
• Hotel or similar business experience preferred.
• Weekend and holiday availability required.
• San Diego County Food Handler certification required or training provided by Evans Hotels.

Responsibilities

• Assist bartender in setting up bar area.
• Ensure bar is stocked with clean glassware and supplies.
• Maintain clean, organized bar pantries and work areas.
• Assist with garnishing drinks and room function setup as instructed.
