Job summary

RMD Group in Del Mar, CA is seeking a dependable Barback to support bartenders, stock, prep, and maintain a clean, organized bar to ensure a seamless guest experience.

You will help with glassware, ice, and service area upkeep, assist with running food, and uphold food safety standards in a fast-paced environment. Prior barback/restaurant support is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of barback or restaurant support experience preferred.
• Valid Food Handler Card and RBS certification (or ability to obtain).
• Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Stock, prep, and maintain bar supplies.
• Keep bar and service areas clean, organized, and fully stocked.
• Assist with glassware, ice, trash, and overall bar upkeep.
• Run food and support service staff to ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain dining and bar areas cleanliness, including table clearing and resetting.
• Anticipate team needs to keep service flowing during high-volume periods.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service standards.

Hourly | Part-Time | $17.75/hr + Tip-Eligible We’re seeking dependable, fast-paced Barbacks who play a key role in supporting bartenders and maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient bar.
