Hyatt is seeking a Bar Back for The Shore Room at The Seabird Ocean Resort and Spa in Oceanside, CA. The role supports bar operations, assists bartenders, and ensures supplies and guest service meet high standards.

The position requires a customer-focused, flexible candidate with 1+ year in F&B, able to work weekends and holidays. The position may involve assisting other outlets as needed at Hyatt’s oceanfront properties.

Qualifications

• A true desire to satisfy others in a fast-paced environment.
• Refined verbal communication skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Ability to lift, pull, and push a moderate weight (about 25 pounds).
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• 1+ year experience in F&B.

Responsibilities

• Assist bar and lounge operations and maintain supply levels (glassware, mixers, ice, beverages).
• Support bartenders; clear equipment, wash ware, and assist guests as needed.
• Assist food servers with guests' needs and service tasks.
• Roll silverware, clear tables, and run food/drinks as required by business needs.
• Participate in side work, cleaning measures, and trainings as directed.
• Assist other Hyatt outlets per business needs.
