BENCHMARK is hiring a Food Runner/Server Assistant at Mountain Shadows Resort in Paradise Valley, Arizona. The selected candidate will assist servers and ensure proper service etiquette during guests’ dining experiences.

The ideal applicant should be in good physical condition, have a pleasant personality for guest interaction, and possess strong attention to detail. Previous dining experience is preferred. Job description

Position: Food Runner/Server Assistant – Mountain Shadows Resort (Pyramid Global Hospitality)

Responsibilities

• Be thoroughly familiar with all standards of proper service etiquette and adhere to them throughout guests’ dining experience.
• Assist servers with general service and removal of completed courses from the table.
• Serve a twelve‑table station independently during typical service demand.
• Provide water service after guests have been seated and replenish throughout service.
• Set up, stock, and restock service stations in the kitchen and dining room.
• Clear and reset dirty tables quickly and quietly after guests depart, including breakfast table set‑up.
• Break down bus trays at the dishwashing station and assist dishwashers when needed.
• Perform post‑service duties in the kitchen and dining room in an expedient manner.
• Know table and position numbers and fulfill the role of Food Runner as dictated by the schedule.
• Assist servers to ensure all dining room tables are set to standards.
• Collaborate with other server assistants to ensure optimum efficiency.
• Be familiar with emergency safety measures, including the Heimlich maneuver, CPR, and fire evacuation procedures.
