Job summary

Starwood Hotels is seeking a Barback to support bartenders by setting up and breaking down the bar, stocking inventory, and preparing garnishes. You will also assist with guest requests and maintain safety and cleanliness across the bar area.

Ideal candidates have prior barback experience, strong English communication, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. Flexible scheduling and weekend shifts are required for a 24-hour operation.

• Food Handling certification (can be obtained during employment).

Responsibilities

• Assist bartenders in setting up and breaking down the bar area and ensure supplies are available.
• Stock and replenish bar inventory to support efficient drink prep.
• Prepare garnishes according to recipes and standards.
• Monitor ice supply and ensure bins/machines function properly.
• Support bartenders during service and assist guests with requests.
• Follow safety policies; report hazards and maintain compliance.
• Maintain professional appearance and confidentiality; uphold brand pillars.
