Job summary

SodexoMagic is seeking a Barback to support the bartending team at the American Express Lounge in ATL. This full-time role involves maintaining bar cleanliness, restocking supplies, washing glassware, and preparing garnishes. Open availability and flexibility are valued for varying shifts.

Minimum age to serve alcohol applies; 0–1 year related experience is acceptable. Benefits and site-specific perks may apply depending on location.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 0 to 1 year related experience.
• Must be at or over the minimum age to serve alcohol or bartend based on local city and state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain the cleanliness and condition of the bar, bar unit, tables, and other tools.
• Collect empty glasses from the bar and wash glassware as necessary to ensure an adequate supply to serve customers.
• Prepares fresh garnishes for drinks employing the first-in, first-out (FIFO) system.
• Restocks bar/designated station with supplies and transports supplies to bar set-up area.
• Anticipates and communicates replenishment needs.
• Maintains cleanliness of bar area, beer lockers, and refrigeration and storage areas to comply with health code standards.
• Significant walking or other means of mobility.
• Ability to walk or stand for extended periods of time, throughout the entire duration of a shift, which may exceed 8 hours.
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull, and frequently lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift/move 50 pounds.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
