Job summary

Aramark Barback position in Washington, DC supports bartenders and staff by stocking, cleaning, restocking garnishes, and ensuring smooth opening/closing duties. You will help with inventory, transfers, and maintaining a clean, well-ordered bar area to deliver excellent guest service.

Previous food service experience is preferred; flexible availability including evenings and weekends is expected in a fast-paced environment. Physical endurance for standing/walking is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with opening and closing duties, restocking garnishes, napkins, towels, and glassware.
• Deliver product and maintain inventory integrity using transfer sheets.
• Clean and sanitize workstations and guest service areas.
• Ensure bar stocked with ice, liquor, wine, and beer; monitor taps and kegs.
• Keep bar clean; wipe surfaces, sweep, mop, remove soiled glassware.
• Maintain excellent guest service and a positive demeanor.
• Follow Aramark safety policies and food sanitation practices.
• Protect company assets and maintain security.
