Job summary

Bars is seeking a motivated bar back in Washington, DC, to assist bartenders by ensuring everything is well-stocked and clean. Responsibilities include restocking supplies, preparing garnishes, and maintaining a tidy bar area.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years' experience in a similar role, be physically fit, and possess a strong knowledge of bar items. Night and weekend shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years’ experience in the role of a Barback.
• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol.
• Physically fit to meet job demands, such as lifting liquor boxes and standing for long hours.
• Friendly, responsible, and punctual.

Responsibilities

• Keep the bar stocked with necessary items before and during service hours.
• Prepare garnishes and refill ice wells.
• Clean up spills and organize the counter.
• Coordinate with staff for efficient service.
• Handle emergency situations, like cleaning broken glass.
