Job summary

LOCAL Public Eatery in The Woodlands is seeking a Barback to support the bar team with proactive, friendly service. You’ll stay one step ahead of the bartenders to maintain a smooth flow and elevate the guest experience.

You’ll handle duties from bussing and glassware, stocking and prepping bar ingredients, to tapping kegs and keeping the bar top clean. This role rewards teamwork, agility, and a love of hospitality.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant.
• Ability to connect with others and work well in a team.
• Must have or be able to obtain local/state Food Handler and Alcohol Server permits.
• Be able to stand for prolonged periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, attentive service throughout guests' dining experience.
• Assist bartenders and help maintain a pristine bar area.
• Clear and reset bar top to standard cleanliness.
• Monitor beverage delivery and prep bar ingredients.
• Tap kegs and stock bar throughout service.
• Follow safety procedures for food and alcohol handling.
